Lens identification help!

Hi All,


I just signed up and I'm hoping this post is in the correct forum. Can anyone help me identify this lens? I do not have it with me, I just have this photo. Not sure what mount it is (Konica AR?). F/1.4 to F/16. I've been searching the allphotolenses.com database, but still can't find a match. Any help would be appreciated!

Like I said, I do not have any other information other than what the photo shows (flickr link is a slightly larger image than the forum attachment). This lens was shipped to me from somebody who doesn't know anything about photography and it got lost in the mail.

Ah, thank you! Looks like a later Minolta Rokkor-PG 50mm.

MD is a bit shorter. You can tell by the focus ring.



"My" lens has a big dot on the aperture ring left of the 1.4, do you know what that indicates? None of the other Rokkor lenses have this dot.

Found the lens! For anyone following: it's a Minolta MC Rokkor-X PG 50mm f1.4 and the dot was just some paint or gunk that was easily scraped off. Thanks!
