Canon LTM lens options for the canon P

Lex, I have a Canon 50 1.8 and it is a great lens. It is nearly as good as a Leica summulux 50mm(2nd ). I got my Canon50 on ebay for 107 bucks a couple years ago. One in great condition went for less than a 100 last week. I almost bought it for a friend. Just check out Canon Rangfinder on e-bay over a period of time and you will get a good price. All versions of this lens have the same optical formula and I prefer the all chrome(older) models because they are built like a tank. Great lens for a great price. Akot of the Canon LTM lens were very good.
 
Lex, just did some looking around for you and found you the lens. Go to Pacific Rim Camera, click on Canon, screwmount lens, and you will find a Canon 50mm 1.8 in ex/ex+ condition for 125. Jump on it!
 
thanks john for looking around. pacific rim was one of the first places i checked (since they are local), but the lens has been sold and not removed from the catalogue.
 
Lex, I just looked at most of your pics on the flickr site and you got some real nice shots. I really like the more abstract architectual shots in that group. Hope you find your 50. If I see one, i'll let you know. Keep shooting
 
thanks john, i am glad that you like them. i am always adding. i located a serenar 50/1.8 and i bought it. it should arrive about the same time the P does. i am looking forward to experiencing the quality of glass and the handling of the P.
