It's certainly possible, with patience. I picked up one for around $85 on eBay only a few months ago.
 
Jupiter-3 in the samples above was made in 1961. I have a second Jupiter-3 (the same year), both equally sharp. Chose them from four different J-3's, the others were soft wide open.
Here are pictures I took when choosing the lenses (100% crop from the center):
