Lenses for CLE?

Hi,

Does anybody know which Leica lenses fit the Minolta CLE? I have a 28/2.8 Elmarit(First version, I believe, Nr 2 31x xxx), and I just read it won´t fit, so offcourse I did try it in and no problems at all, the meter works like it should. But I did´t have the courage to focus at all, so could there be any problems in focusing the Elmarit?

More information, did run some more tests, and it seem to me that the Elmarit blocks some of the view of the metering cell, and in a dim light the reading can be a way off:bang:

I havent seen anyone using a Version 1 Elmarit on a CLE before. Certainly as you have discovered the meter cell will be blocked as I have tried a similarly large rear elemnt lens the SA21 f3.4 on one. How close is the rear Element to the shutter curtain at infinity? (Set it on B and take a look with the back open) I too have always read that it touches the rear curtain but in fact the CLE's cloth curtains dont look any thinker or bilkier than an M's. Where lens fittment is a problem is if the rear lens elements are very large in diameter it wont fit past the shroud round the meter cell. Depth of rear elements is more a CL problem with its swinging meter cell.
