Let's celebrate what we still have ... post your Ilford pics.

After the demise of Neopan 400 in 120, I have recently come back to HP5.

So far I can say the reunion has been a great pleasure!

Thanks to Ilford for staying in the game!

An oldie from me, but this is HP5 35mm developed by Ilford as a silver gelatin print and scanned out of necessity. The combination of Ilford's film and developing and the wonderful rendering from the Nokton 50mm 1.5 make this one of my favourite photo's of my own, despite it's simplicity. It still retains its silver tonality.

The two high key are great. That last one though... I really love it. Nice stuff!

I was reading about Kentmere somewhere recently. Someone asked if it was just Ilford emulsions under a different name ... according to Ilford definitely not!

For me HP5+ seems to look better in the larger formats. In 135mm I often seem to get grain that I don't like the look of so much but that could be more to do with a need for some fine tuning on my part!

Could some of you posting HP5+ shots in 135mm do me the favour of naming your developer? 🙂

Here's a couple with HP5+ from my Crown Graphic ... I shot these hand held using sunny sixteen and discovered that this film is very forgiving.
