Wow! what a shot, this is awesome!

Keith-

I like HP5+ in a variety of developers. It is quite fine grained in Studionol (now R09 Special) at the standard 1:15 with box speed, and has quite lovely tonality. ISO 320 might be slightly better, but I tend to overexpose HP5 (and everything else) a tad anyway- so I likely shoot at 320 without dialing it in. Studionol has become my first choice for most of my 135 HP5. DD-X at 1:4 is also a good choice if grain needs to be minimized. HC-110 and Microphen certainly increase grain with HP5. I've not tried it at 400 or 200 in Perceptol, but have used it at ISO 50 in Perceptol 1:1 with success, but a sometimes 'mushy' grain.

One of the things I like best about HP5 is the ability to alter grain with developer choice- even at box speed one has a range of 'grit' available depending on what the days shooting presents. The drawback is needing to have lots of developers on hand.

Sorry for the flood, I just got carried away.....

This one in particular confirms why PanF+ is so highly regarded ... in my books especially.

I'd rate that as 'perfect!'
