Matti... outstanding shot. Really like it. What's the story on the lens? BTW is that TMax or what is it.

The Ultra Wide Heliar 12mm f5.6 becomes a 18mm on the R-D1s. Can't wait to mount it on the R2A and shoot some 12mm shots!

#1 - Early morning. Taxi with bombs heading towards the building. No I'm kidding.
#2 - The Taipei 101 building. Was the world's tallest office building til a while ago. Yes, the one under the road light.
#3 - Show Me the Way
#4 - Traditional Chinese Painting Emulation (still need to do better)
#5 - Something to Do When Waiting for the Red Light

I found the super-wide lenses interesting for very close shots. Just haven't got one that's really satisfying yet. Will keep working on it.

I mostly shoot 50mm or the equivalent in other formats, but when the 24mm is right it's just right.

Reading and browsing this thread has left me wanting a VC 15mm very badly. The VC lenses are unbelievably good value. Not to mention the display of talent by the RFF members.

Wow, some fantastic pics in this thread!
I couldn't agree more; the shots by neelin, krosya, glenn2, michaelbialeki (esp. the elephant pic) and the first one by joe (#59) also really caught my attention.
My widest RF lens is 35mm, so that doesn't really rate. If I want to go wide it has to be a Panagor 28mm on the (evil) Spotmatic...

Or the plastic fantastic Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim if I want to go even wider...

Now that's how to use a 15mm Mr Phillip! And I like that fish shot Todd.Hanz - very nice.
