Let's see your Leica 50mm Lux Pre-ASPH Photos!

Ok... Finally, my first roll of Black n white self developed at home. Tmax developer and iford fixer. Films - TriX 400. Shot with M3 and 50 Summilux f1.4 E46. All metered with MR4 meter.

Some shots I really like:

very nice low light photos

I also had the E46 and went back to the E43. The E46 is definitely missing something, lighter glass or some kind of cost cutting process going on with those batches....

Thanks Anthony, I owned both the e43 and e46 version before deciding to keep the e43 version, it's a great lens I'm sure you'll have fun with it! A couple more shots with the Summilux 50mm f1.4 II:

Pros and cons I guess.. I prefer the aesthetics and longer focus throw of the E43, but I really like the 0.7m closest focusing distance and built in hood of the E46. Well, can't go wrong with either versions! On to more pictures..

This lens has become my main lens for my M. I love the way it handles , just wish it had a focusing tab, a floating element and ASPH written on the crown of the lens. :D

My clear favorite of all Leica lenses and for sure the focus of my next cigar-box full of money saving strategy...
