Simply put: I miss her. Nonetheless, her replacement is in the mail.

I documented the still new looking MP for later reference with some comparison to the chubby Leica (no M5 though) ;-)
I changed some Nikon stuff for the MP and I don't regret it a bit ;-)

Hehe - it's two weeks with that new little thing by now. I will certainly solve that. Let's see it in a year or two (the M8.2 is about a year in use, but get's used more than the film body will, I guess).
MP + 35 asph 1st version = best looking leica combo period.
That certainly can't be, as Pandachief's black M3 + Nocti is already

Guys, please stop posting pictures of your M's with Noctilux and 35mm 'lux asph, I'm going to have to become a hitman or sell a kidney to buy those lenses
Oh well, I'll have to "settle" for a 50mm 1.1 and 35mm 1.2 Voigtlander kit for the near future

Thanks!! I really love my M3 BP and my Noct f/1.2.
This is my special black paint shinny M9 with late coated elmar + brand new black paint hood.
How did you get the glossy black paint finish on the M9?

You can achieve the high gloss by multiple coat of car polish!!

Thanks - second hand - took me quite a while, to find a nice one for an acceptable price.
The new price is crazy - double of this one!
The former owner put definitely less than 10 rolls through it - that's a nice discount for a "demo" with just under 10 rolls, isn't it

No, it is slightly more matte, but it get's more glossy all by itself due to regular use (or car polish - nice idea Pandachief

i shoot a lot with my m9.
it has 70,000 + photos taken with it.
it bangs into my other bodies.
my m7 is being repaired by my dad, otherwise i'd have a photo of it up.
i shoot rock & roll.
rock on.

I love seeing a camera that been well used.
I checked out your website. You should maybe consider narrowing down a few of those galleries. There are a lot of times where there are 2 or 3 photos in a row of the same band that look almost identical. It takes away from the impact the photo could have had. This is coming from a guy with too many images in his own portfolio too haha.
