Thanks, all I need is the viewfinder cleared of dust, and a new camera leather, probably vulcanit, put on it and I don't think I need any other camera, ever. That camera and lens is just perfect, to me anyway.

Nice M6, why the craving for the FLE - the older ASPH is soooooo much nicer (fits the 12466 hood, which the newer kid doesn't - how lame about the new one ;-)

Now that Jon Manjiro has pushed my nose veeeeery close on those 35 1.8 Nikkors, I am quite a sucker for all info on "alike lenses".

Will try a pre ASPH Summilux in TWO DAYS !!! After that will see, if I still crave after those Japanese beauties ;-)

Yes, hopefully most of the internals will be salvageable. If not then worst case, a donor M2 will suffice. 🙂

thank you very much Johan, its nice to have it back on my M3. i like the collapsible summicron a bit better for regular shooting but for night time its a no brainer 🙂

$100 !!!! and I thought my sub $400 chrome M4 was a steal. You scored! On the bright side for me I have a film in it and it works like a charm.
 
Not sure what that's about since I bought it in person and not off ebay.

One corner ding, the rest is ok. Will hammer that out.
