Spot on. Borrowed from a friend. So much fun to play with. Feels at home on the M6.

Nice combo Lam, how do you like the Sonnar? Thinking of buying / trading one...

Picked up this 65 M2 a few days ago, complete with 90mm collapsable Elmar. Ran a roll through it yesterday and everything looks good! It's going to make a good sidekick for my M3!

That's a beauty! … but "sidekick"?
I imagine a fantastic kit to shoot with the 90 on the M3 and a 35 on the M2 …

Thanks, menos, but the only 35mm I have is a goggled Summaron, which I don't think will work on the M2, so it'll be 90 on the M2 and 35 on the M3 for now!

I haven't posted here much, but I have a few Leica M's -- here is my prettiest one.

On top of the usual CLA/shutter curtain replacement type stuff, I had an M4-2 finder put in with the MP antiflare kit and the 135 framelines removed. I also had the self timer and frame preview levers removed and had it all put into an MD shell.

I think you need to give a new model designation

The googled 35s will work perfectly well on the m2. It will even work on an m9 should you want. Leave the goggles on though.

So that's why it looks so slick

Wow - now that's some extensive job done!
It was well worth it - looks good and sounds like a nice user with that finder.

Thanks guys - it does feel like a new camera (on top of the CLA, both shutter curtains were replaced, a new rewind mechanism went in as well). I only shoot 35mm and now it feels like my idea of the ultimate Leica
If only I could find a chrome Summicron I could afford for it!

Thanks, Chris. That's good to know.
