Fairly new to me: M3 + LTM Summarit + "For Summarit" Walz hood although it could/should be deeper.

28/90, 35 and 50mm framelines, nice clean viewfinder, you only see the 35 frame with the pre-asph 1977 Summilux shown.
M2 advance lever, griptac. (I got this camera from a fellow RFF'er)

I found a similar "For Sonnar" 40.5mm in a junk pile at a swap meet and use it on my Jupiter-8, and set up an eBay search for Walz Lens Hood so I can easily see what's been posted. It was $18, much cheaper than the XOONS, and it screws in so less worry when out in the field. I do wish it were deeper, however.
Thanks!

Fixcinater--thanks for the info. I'll check out ebay. The Xoons hood is not for me--too big..

Sweet Jesus ! The vulcanite makes the MP look even sexier. I have exactly the same lux and a BP M6 Millennium but now i'm torn between keeping the lux or the cron v5. I guess you would keep the lux? Haha.

Yes, Aki Asahi's 4034 leatherette is lovely. It's a shame it isn't produced anymore. It used to have Aki Asahi's 4008 on it (finer grain), which is also lovely.
My copy of the summilux has a very slight chip in one of the elements, which although having no impact on the finished picture, vastly reduces it's resale value. For this reason I have just kept it, given it a CLA and plan to keep it paired with my beaten up MP for life.
