Nice! I have a 21SEM with a CV VF but I'm starting to itch for one by Leitz. Dottie's not helping this.

I've always wanted a Leica, but my Voigtlander did such a good job it was hard to justify the expense. But the other day I turned 30, so I figured I should spoil myself. I tracked down a Leica that was manufactured in the year of my birth and pulled the trigger. It arrived the other day and I couldn't be happier! I've already shot more than a few rolls and used it on a shoot. I can't say it has made my photography any better, but it inspires me to get out there and shoot so I'm anticipating long term benefits

Wow ... the M6 is 30
Now I feel old - I can remember the M6 launch and selling them during my university summer job in a camera store.

Great looking set, John! Congratulations.

To make it perfect, you should add an original calf-leather strap from Leitz from the same period as the camera. Much nicer to use and to look at. They are very supple and feel incredibly smooth.
