Let's see your Leica M

good thing the M can withstand the heat! ;)

:)
It was my first trip with digital for 7 years or more and there was barely a glitch. Conditions ranged from hot and humid, hot dry dusty to -15C, often in the space of 12 hrs. It has been such a good experience I think I'll be selling my MPs in the coming year.

Shooting a gathering of family and friends. I can't wait to see how this combo does :D

Nice! Where in Nepal were you? I was in Kathmandu and Kavre building schools this past May. Heading back in March to start another build.

We obtained permission to climb a peak in Eastern Nepal just west of the Kanchenjunga circuit. We were the third recorded travellers to a village called Yangma before heading further west. We took solar lights for the villagers on behalf of Light Education Development. Following the climb we headed east over three passes to drop into Ghunsa.

Yes, we're working with Kids of Kathmandu. Here's a writeup from our last trip:

This was the first volunteer trip and it was just the two of us. Going back in March and we have 14 volunteers who want to help build a second school. Needless to say, we're pretty stoked about it!

You building with an organization?

Wow, that sounds awesome! Also great that you were able to give back to the village.

Cool. A friend of mine owns KE Adventure Travel who have links with The Juniper Trust. Our trip was independent of his company though.
