Let's see your Leica M

Nope. Out yesterday with them and the .85 and 75 AA, Fuji 400H up in the woods. The MP3 in use today, with a 50 pre ASPH lux, 4xND filter and Neopan 1600 @ 1250.

The M's above, with the .72 & .85 M7's are the work cameras, loaded and shot, unloaded and ready for the next days work. The MP3 and the M5 are my play cameras, one with B&W one with color, along for the ride on errands and daily outings, for both work and snapshots. Then there's a CLE with Kodachrome for the beach.

Hello all,

I thought this thread could be the right one for a 1st post on the forum :). My gear is a bit diversified (Nikons D70s & F3, Speed Graphic, Leica M3) after 2 years of buying/learning the basics in photography. So here comes my M3 (early model, #707xxx) with a summilux from '61, sitting pretty. I usually use it with a VCmeter but took it off for the shot.
(tech stuff: shot with D70s+60mm micro & tripod, no flash)

I could be wrong, but I am quite sure you would fall completely in love with this camera if it had strap lugs and most any body covering.
Yeah, the strap lugs are missing, so I carry it in an old case with straps and a screw that fits in the tripod"hole"... Works fine, but I will fix the strap lugs later. About the body... The previous owner removed the covering and painted it in a matte black color that I actually like, but it does get extremely slippery when it`s hot outside.

My little boy.

This is a great shot of your MP, also love that issue of LFI as background. :)

Here is the only B&W loaded camera at a nice wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan:

This was a wedding for my wife's nephew. Nice trip from Seattle, nice beer at the wedding.

A perfect combination ! Leica M6 + 35mm Summicron + beer :)

I like this photo!

You people (Bob, Andy and Edward in particular) make me so bloody jealous! :D:bang:
Oh, to have such nice gear. My M7 is off in Solms getting some TLC. :(

Yeah but I'd trade them to be as young as you appear in that avatar...

You're too kind, I'm hitting 30 in a few weeks...but the wife attacks me with all sorts of creams when i sleep...i always wake up smelling like a sephora shop.
anywho, you have a lovely get up going there...make sure to put up another picture when your m5 shows back up.

Just taken at home this morning. A one-day shooting pack with my M4 and a few lenses.:)

Elmarit 135mm. I bought it not so long ago and is about to try it out. I normally shoot with wide angle lens with my Ms, this is the first time to use tele.

That's an interesting kit. Which case is that? Any other photos of it? Thanks

This is a vintage leather camera bag I bought in Munich during travel. A very nice little kit but good enough to fit all I need for a day trip. One body, 3 lenses and a few roles of film plus wallet and stuffs. Here are a few more pictures.
