VERY interested in the Wollensak you got there, care to share any more details on it?

CLE-RF, it's a melting pot of a lens. The glass is Wollensak, the focusing barrel is from an Olympus SLR lens and the mount is Leica M (of course). I took a chance buying it on ebay, mainly because the seller was local and I could make sure it worked. Based on a few test pictures the focusing and frame coverage are fine. It's fully RF coupled and it would focus down to 0.45m but the RF only goes to 0.7m.
I should have some results on my flickr account tonight.

Wow, that's a strange concoction. It makes me happy that someone somewhere is using their time making really odd things like that. RF coupling?

thanks. The photos were taken with my bird's canon xti dslr and the 50mm 1.8.
The camera was bought in prague at photo skoda for ~380$. They said the shutter was broken so it was marked at huge discount. It was wrinkled but working fine. I like to think it was Koudelka's leica although I don't have an ounce of evidence to support this wild claim.

I'm thinking paint it black to match the Millennium Nikkor![]()
That's a beauty, but I wouldn't paint it. It's in far too good condition for that. Get a slightly more beat up version to paint if you want to paint one.
Just my $.02, but I think you might regret painting it one day.

... likes film again.
My first M. I originally wanted a M6, but couldn't pass up this classic! The only mark on it is what you see on the bottom plate under the lens.

Adapter is from Amedeo. He sells them on ebay, and sometimes posts here.

my old post

i got my M2 back finally! i was so exited i immediately loaded some trix and shot it within an hour of ups arriving.
they overhauled the interior, changed the flash ports to normal ones, and overhauled the lens, it had dust inside and was stiff to focus. they stole the strap rings though...
oh and they recovered the skin or whatever it was that was peeling off. its so smooth now! my M4 cannot compare! the viewfinder is now outstanding.
