Here's my current set-up.
Leica MP with 35 Summilux ASPH
Leica R4S with 50 Summilux
I bought the R4S after I got my MP. Was using the Summilux-R lesn on my Canon 5dm2 previously. The R lens were what that got me started on Leica.
Love the current setup. Both cameras fit nicely in my Billingham L2 bag. Love the Gordy's straps too. I am in Heaven!

How's the 35 on the 0.85 vf?
Better than I expected, and much better than (for example) the 40mm framelines on an R3. They are very bright and I don't find my eyes unconsciously trying to locate them which was a strange problem I had with the Bessa. You can't see a real lot beyond the framelines without "looking around" them but the mag is close enough to 1:1 that I find I can focus with both eyes open (for example if waiting for someone to walk into the frame) and not strain my eyes too much. But keeping the left one closed is definitely more restful! The 52mm filter does obscure a bit of the VF but not enough to bother me - to give some idea how much, triggering the 50mm framelines clears the filter completely (but only just).
As for how accurate they are with the C Biogon (which reputedly has a slightly different FOV to the regular version), well, I will just have to wait a few days and see how my first 2 test rolls come out. If they're not total disasters (what with me being a noob to RF's) I'll post a few samples.

Scott

Glad that you're enjoying your kit. The 35/2.8 looks like a nice lens. Enjoi!
Thank you Benjamin! I'm having mure fun with it already than I expected - it really is a pleasure to shoot with and a very nice change from a semi-automated SLR. I am just waiting for the fairly dismal weather we've been having locally to clear up a bit and then I will really be putting some more film through it

Erik,
Yes the "Magnum" crank was with the camera when I got it. I have no idea of the history but I made an enquiry today indirectly to the last owner so perhaps I'll find something out! As for the speed dial, it is from an M4-2 I think, the original doesn't have much paint left on it but I still have it. Perhaps I should put it back on! I would be interested to know how you came to own your M2 black paint with the Magnum connection!

How do you like the 'cron? I'm thinking of picking one up soon, but not sure if I want to go for the asph or first few versions.
That is a very nice kit BTW.

I have one in the works right now, mostly due to Bill's bad influence.
