Very nice set. What kind of covering does your M2 '58 have? It looks great, but it is not the original vulcanite.

Erik - thanks - I like it. Excellent observation - it's an Aki Asahi covering (forget which one) - the original was coming off in big chunks. Not as grippy as the original vulcanite but quite OK (he's great to deal with)

This seems to be the problem with all early M2's. I had a hard job to save the skin of mine.it's an Aki Asahi covering (forget which one) - the original was coming off in big chunks.
I know the Aki Asahi coverings quite well, but I've never seen yours.
