Let's see your Leica M

i always come in here and look at the pictures and try to identify which M is in every picture. kind of a personal quiz, just to see how fast i can identify each M and when i saw this M2 i was like :confused::rolleyes::eek::eek::cool::p:angel::angel::(waaaaaaaaaa? :mad::mad::):):rolleyes:

Some recent shots of my m3 and 50mm rigid......as beautiful as this combo is, for some strange reason, I am actually contemplating selling this set up to a local photographer out here in Bangkok (it would be his first Leica).......to be honest, I hardly ever use my m3, my m6ttl and m2 see most of the action.......but this combo is so freaking sweet that I am having second thoughts about it.......I took this set up out today and just loved it, the pure simplicity of a 50mm on an m3 is really nice, but my m2/35mm and m6/28 have been my main work horses for the past couple of years....anyways, I need some time to think.......

what a beauty. tough decision.

I have this same exact combo. Found the Rigid 'cron in mint new condition. No haze, scratches or anything. I couldn't bring myself to sell them.

Congrats

Congrats

Hi there! I just receive this morning a beautiful Leica M2 bought to a member of RFF (buzzardkid ). It's an amazing piece of camera, and a first for me because I had a Bessa R2A for 2 years and never had the occasion to handle a real Leica! I'm just happy.

Great looking M2 with equally clean Canon 35:2 glass. I can relate to the first time Leica experience, my first Leica was a M2 also. The M2 viewfinder is stunning & hard to beat. Hope you have many years of good light with your new M. :p:):D

I will for sure ;) Thanks for the warm welcome! It's really amazing to take pictures of people just near you who don't hear the noise of the shutter!

Looks like hood that comes with the 35 lux that accompanies the M9 Titanium.

But in black.

Pretty.

Menos - what is that new hood? I like the styling.

It's a Leica 12466 scalloped lens hood, fitting the 35 Lux ASPH v1 and current 28 Cron ASPH.

I like it.

@JHP
The lens hod on the Tit indeed looks similar, but seems, to be slightly smaller in Ø from it's looks.

If you look for buying these hoods, watch out for prices - they are all over the place, official MSRP being something like USD 400 + Tax.
In the US, I saw Popflash having the best prices on these, while I could pick one additionally pick up locally for less, than I paid at Popflash.
