I went out to lunch on Friday and came back to the office with an M2. I have always wanted one of these. Aside from replacing the vulcanite, the body is in really nice condition. I have it loaded with Ilford Delta 400 for a test roll.
I usually come back with a sandwich

Beautiful trio of chrome Leicas! Went to Lemonsha with jonmanjiro last September; wonderful place!
A new addition from last week (in the front)
It's a 1994 M6 found in my favorite Tokyo shop: Lemonsha

I usually come back with a sandwich- nice camera, ripe for some fancy leather covering

I ordered some new leather for it when I got back to the office. I hope to have it prettied up by the end of the week. I love the simplicity of it. We could be friends for a long long time.

Cris--really, really nice!
Well done!
Beautiful cameras and lens, too.
Is that M2 really naked, or is that a stealth covering??

It's naked, all the knobs and stuff are showing way too deep!

Thanks guys!! Having seen all the great kit on here it means a lot and was my inspiration to do things properly
I'm chuffed with the setup now for sure.
The M2 is awaiting repair. I have a new brown leather cover that matches the bag, so yes, it's naked ATM, but also non-functional, however I wanted to make sure i had space for it on fixing it.
I forget the brand of the film box, it was some no name brand on amazon? Tis far nicer than having loose rolls, a d given the selection that's always in there, I never have to sit there picking films before a trip

Beautiful M2 ! I can't wait, to get my hands on the first meter less Leica M, I just bought Yesterday ;-)
I am tired, working through a backlog of film scanning, editing, internet surfing and Formula One watching.
Here is the M8.2 sitting with Hektor next to me, M9 and Nikkor 5cm ƒ1.4 in the back.
When will Adobe finally bring out Lightroom for iOS with full feature set and desktop implementation (used here a silly iPhone app with …)?

Bought this Leica M2 from fellow RFF member, Duckie, in the RFF classifieds earlier this year. It is a dream.
The Summaron 3.5cm F3.5 is the same kind of lens that Simon Saw Sunlight has discussed in other threads. He modified his lens so that it will bring up the 35mm framelines on the M2. I have not done that to this lens, and actually enjoy using the accessory finder.
If I ever do the "one year, one camera and one lens" thingy, this will probably be the outfit I use.
