* yesterday : during a visit from my good buddy Stu - an M user for many many years.

my M5 trying on stu's Elmarit 90 for size.
his well-used but smooth M4 wearing my little Voigtlander 35 pancake.
and his M E ( with Summilux 35 ) which was a lovely introduction to the digital Ms for me.

i get to borrow the M4 and the Elmarit and add them to my bag for a wee while.

can't complain.

I like that you named your Leica-M's.
I think of my M3 as masculine, hence "ziggy".
ziggy short for Zigmund Leitz.
My M2 definitely female.."zagerina".
All the later M except the M5 are female!
This is my opinion only.
Last few are great M's.
