One day I put this 2001 lens on my Leica M3 and it never came off. I love what it gives me.

My recent Leica is a 1955 m3 as well. It took a few rolls to get used to the double stroke, and I believe that my 1961 m3 had a brighter viewfinder but there's something special about the early M bodies. They just sexier and hardier.

I like cameras but I can only look at so many photos of them before my eyes just sort of begin to gloss over. My own M6 looks much like any other under-utilized example out there so it's hard to see the value in posting a photo of it. That said, for me it is actually cool to see the very tools that Erik has used to create so many wonderful images he's shared here on this forum. It's as if you can see all of those wonderful images reflected in some small way by the patina evident on his cameras. Cheers Erik!
