Well if there are threads to show off your gear then why not your books? :) Here's mine...

It looks like there are about 7-8 metres of photo books on my shelves, so it was too difficult to photograph them...

Cheers,

A while ago I did a count of my Photobooks. I got to 725 and gave up. They are spread out wherever there is free shelf space. Cameras are good, books are better. I tend to stick to Photojournalism post 1945 - but there are also a lot of technical books and about 4 feet of Leica books.
It does sound like a lot - but I have been snapping up books for 40 years. I try to limit myself a bit - but then you walk in to a bookstore or 2nd hand store and see something and yet another addition.

I'm sure you've got quite a good collection Tom. If you ever need to free up more shelf space I would be happy to adopt your books. I think you're just a hop, skip and a jump away from me too. ;)

It's fun to look at other people's libraries (and music collections). I always do that when I visit someone. I have a smallish collection of photo books (around 200+), but still too many to photograph. All monographs, gallery catalogs, etc. and some history/theory. No technical type books at all.

Cheers,
Gary
