Had a play with Tav mode for the first time today. Set up at 1/500 and f6.3. Works great for quick stuff on the street. I wonder if there's a way to set a maximum iso. One shot I did in a cafe had the iso zip up to 25600. That's a little grainy 🙂

Set the dynamic range correction to high, which limit its useable ISO range from 400 to 6400 and can be used as a workaround to limit the highest ISO in Tav mode. Once it reach 6400, if you set the aperture/shutter auto shift to aperture priority, then the shutter speed will start slowing down. The DR only effects JPG, so no problem with RAW.

Thats my basic setting for nearly everything, 1/250, F8, snap Focus 2m, DR high to cap the ISO and TAV-mode.

I've been out twice in the last week and carried both the Xpro and the GR. Took maybe half a dozen shots on the Fuji but mainly preferred to shoot on the Ricoh.
