I love the camera, I was referring to the photo. Ricoh has always produced excellent black and white output. The biggest difference I noticed was how sharp it is.I thought the same thing when I bought mine. I didn't like the color palette (still don't) and I thought the build was kinda cheap for the selling price. But that lens is just so freakin' sharp! I played around with the GR II until I got accustomed to using it. Then I discovered how awesome the B&W files are--both Raw and JPEG. Since then, it's become my dedicated monochrome camera and I'm lovin' it. When I made some prints on Canson BFK Rives (now PrintMaKing), I was blown away. I haven't made prints this nice since the original Agfa Portriga Rapid was discontinued.
