Spent a few difficult days in the hospital last week with Covid. Escaped it for four years, then whammo!. That was really rough.
Anyway, starting to get some strength back and took my first longish walk today, around a little lake near home, with the GR III.

Walks around this little lake have been a daily part of my Covid recovery. Not the type of photography I normally do, but it's been three weeks and is still about all I can manage. I go different times of day, just to see it in various light. The GR is such a great companion when you're not up for carrying much else.

It's a beautiful shot for a convalescence. Hang in there, both myself and my wife had about a month before we felt up to anything considered normal, and that was with a "light" case. It's no fun at all.

Very beautiful, James. Good to see you're still active with the GR. After years of BW with my various GRs, I'm shooting color more.

I just returned from a long weekend in Tucson with the GR III. I posted a few in the Color Street thread, but sharing this one here – through my hotel window shade.
