A Nikon S2 with a 5cm F1.4 costs a little bit more than buying an LTM version of the 5cm F1.4.
The Biogon 3.5cm F2.8, the same goes for the 3.5cm F2.8 Jupiter-12: a Slight Increase of ~0.1mm matches the focus to the Nikon. With a Jupiter-12, usually the shim needs to adjusted for use on a Contax or Kiev anyway, or at least test it.

I like both of f1.4 and f2 lenses
5005 series f1.4: I like the glorious flare
5008 series f2: sharp wide open at f2 and perhaps more natural contrast compared to f1.4, and tend to use this more often than f1.4

I have both lenses on two different Nikon S2s. It makes no difference to me. IMHO I photograph people aperture priority (f4 & f5.6); street photography shutter priority. For Jazz Clubs I need to go to the f2 or f1.4. It doesn't much matter because at f2 I can go to 1/30 second with a rangefinder. Do you need the depth of field of f1.4. It is very narrow and when photographing slight movement (Jazz Club) it can be out of focus. (F2 can have that problem, too.) (The only time I found an f1.4 lens 'better' than an f2 was with an SLR as it provided more light for focusing.) Again, IMHO it is not the camera or the lens but the photographer that makes the difference.
