lh-3 Hood for the 35mm f1.2 nokton, any users?

Ive sourced the hood for a good price, Anyone got an images of it on the camera and what lens cap solution?
Ive struggled to find images of it on the lens and would like to see what it looks like on.

Not the greatest picture. I don't use a cap, just my ND filter. I LOVE this hood. On my RD-1 it keeps the camera nice and level when it's sitting down. Fairly strong, too. When my Gordy wrist strap tore in half a while back, my M3 crashed onto concrete and is completely effed up. The LH-3 hood took a nice dent, but I was able to bend it back out and looks fine again, though.

I have booth hoods for the 35f1.2. I tend to favor the "straight" version over the LH 3 hood. It does intrude less in the viewfinder - and you can put the cap on it when storing the lens.
I use the LH 3 on my SC mount 35f1.2 as there is less viewfinder intrusion with a Nikon SP as the 35 frame is way off to the left.
With my M2's - the straight version is just visible in the lower right hand corner of the 35 frame.

I agree with Tom and favor the straight hood which comes with the 35 over the LH-3. I don't really see much of a difference on my M8 to justify the $79.00 so I returned it. The LH-7 on the 50/1.1 however, makes a huge difference.

The original lens shade for the 50/1.1 cuts into a good portion of the view finder. The LH-7 allows you to look through it, giving you back that area.

cheers for the feedback, I bared it all in mind but went and picked it up anyway as it should hopefully be added protection for the front. Besides It looks cool too 😛
