lightroom3 profiles for M9

I found this profile by Chromasoft:

it's better than the standard lightroom profile, but I still have to lower red saturation (-14) and shift reds to oranges (+10) to improve the colors rendition and forget the magenta casts on skins when I shoot in artificial light.

do you know others profiles? how do you behave with M9+lightroom3?
 
under Mac (I think is similar in Win):
you must copy the file in

library/application support/adobe/cameraraw/cameraprofiles/


and restart lightroom

no.

the camera profiles for camera raw (and lightroom) are .dcp files, they are not .icc color profiles

I looked for the .dcp files everywhere on the web, but chromasoft seems to be the only one to give them free.

EDIT: unfortunately the profile cannot be choosed for M9 images

Do you have access to CS5 with the new Camera Raw? If you use the "2010" algorithm along with the "Embedded Profile" I know the M9 colors are pretty decent. Perhaps not ideal, but it's a place to start anyway.

in LR3 too there's the opportunity to choose between "2010" and "embedded" profile, but I like much more the chromasoft profile as a starting point
 
Marking your own profiles is very easy. That way you can have a different profile for each of your lenses and for your M9, instead of for someone elses lens and camera combination. You do have to buy a Monaco Color Checker card. The software to make the profile after you take a picture of the card is downloaded free from Adobe. I find the correct camera profile makes a huge difference.
 
Take a picture of the card, move the file to your computer, open the file in the Adobe software, move 4 indicators to the four corner swatches (the card has 24 swatches), hit the create profile button, close the program, and move the profile you just created to the folder that has the .dcp files. When you open LR3 or PS CS, the new profile will be on the list.

There is only one trick. You get to use two color temperatures. I do not have a bulb with the indoor temperature. The outdoor temperature is cloudy at noon. In some climates you may have to wait for a clouds at noon.

That's it. You can go crazy, do it for every lens, every f-stop, and every ISO if you really want all those profiles. I'm currently using just one profile for the 50 Lux at f5.6 and base ISO.

Download the software; it's free. You can play with the software even without having a picture of the card or a file.
