When the postman brings me some trannies from the lab, or I pick up some cheap and cheerful one hour prints from the chemist.

I know how it feels. However, I'm a little less enthusiastic when I see the backlog of negative sheets I have to contact print. :|

I have processed 6 rolls over the past few days, two more staged to soup tonight. With each roll when I take the reel out of the tank and start to pull it out to hang I have a great feeling of satisfaction.

I fully agree, we live in a world of instant gratification. While so much joy can be had in the process of getting somewhere. Nothing beats the anticipation and finding of true gems amongst the negs..

I have got 6 rolls of bw waiting to be developed. My favorite part is watching the drying negatives while they hang. #:-]
