Does anyone produce something like the Domke single pocket insert but sewn well and with padding on the bottom? I've got one with a cut up mouse pad in the bottom that's falling apart which I put in whatever non-camera bag I'm using. It works great, but the Domke's are really kinda crap. I like their bags but the inserts really aren't made well.
I'm not much of a crafty person and don't know anyone with a sewing machine besides my dry cleaner, so don't suggest making my own unless it can be done with brute force.

Careful with closed cell or any foam, I have seen it outgass over all kinds of lenses. I had sone small piece in the bottom of a compartment in a Benser case. it fogged the bottom of a lens. Lucky it did not go further.
A friend has a very large Hallibuton padded with foam in which he stored lenses. Many got internally fogged.

Or you could do what I did: learn how to use a sewing machine, buy a couple cheap 'ensolite' sleeping pads from your favorite outdoors store, and make your own?
