10 years ago they made a 90th Anniversary Traveler Titanium GT90TT, which had twice the load limits of the regular Traveler. It cost $2,000 and included a nifty leather case the two new limited editions lack.
The $3,000 Arsène Githoven edition has a carbon fiber spider. It's a feat of materials engineering, but I don't know if I'd trust it not to crack from long-term stress.
The slightly more reasonable $1,500 version has a magnesium spider, but you don't get to have your signature laser-engraved on the leg. Considering the regulart GT1545T with ballhead costs $960, it's a 50% premium, but it's unclear what differentiates it apart from the leather strap and the serial number laser-engraved on the CF tube.
