Listen Up, Camera Store Snob!

Darth Vader uses a Black MP, original 1957 version. He does not require a meter.

I put a Summarit on my Canon 7. IT CAN BE TURNED!

LTM=light side
Contax/Kive=dark side.

Why? Because I already have loads of LTM gear (leica, canon, CV, etc.) Dark side started with Kiev trade w/ Nick. Then a Kiev ebay bid. Next up? Contax.

The next chapter of this tale is Chapter 11, of course...

Hmmm... what about the Voigtlanders? FSU's?

Voigtlander = member of the Rebel Alliance, a member representing the light side, along with Canon, Nikon, Contax, etc...

Leica = Dark Side - they initially had great intentions, but as Canon and Nikon grew in power, Leica started to equate that price = power, and fragmented themselves into a small faction hoping to control Photo Empire with their philosophies and ancient powers.

Although the Rebels really do belong to Canon (part of the Rebel Alliance, as someone suggested above), they are just a a small fragment of a larger body that are loyal to the cause... err... um... yeah... something like that.

i've gone several times. find anything interesting?

A couple of filters and a bunch of lens caps/body caps that I have been in need of. I did find a very clean black Minolta 7sII, but the shutter seemed a bit sticky, the guy wanted $100 bucks. I only ran through, plan on going and spending a little more time next month! Ever go to the Camera show at the Elks lodge in Pasadena?

Ended at $81.

But what does it mean when it says it is 12 MPix but has an "Image Sensor: CMOS 3.14 MP"? Sounds like a lot of interpolation to go from 3.14 to 12 MPix. Or am I just mistaken...?
