Agreed. They have cut and spliced footage of an M8, an S2, and what must be the new M9.
The new M body is certainly physically different from the M8. The first thing that I noticed looking at the video is that some of those dimensions just don't "look" right. Taller and thinner I think. Then there's the screws in the eyepiece. The new location of the "advance" feature could just be a new firmware, but the screws and the dimensions are clues that genuine M8 owners looking at the video frame-by-frame would notice. Clever.
This is the first convincing evidence I have seen that a new M is on the way. I won't be able to afford one for about 4 or five years, but I'm still very happy to see it announced.
