LL Reviewer Sean Reid Launches ReidReviews.com
Luminous-Landscape reviewer Sean Reid, well-known to many on this site for his excellent
and extensive reviews of the Leica Digilux 2, Epson R-D1 and various rangefinder lenses,
has just launched a new web site. Reidreviews is a subscription site with no
advertising and, unlike many review sites, Reid says that his new site will pay at least
as much attention to rangefinder cameras and lenses as to DSLRs and their lenses.
Coming up soon will be Reid's reviews of the Zeiss Ikon and four ZM lenses as well as a
long-term report on the Epson R-D1. Articles planned for the coming year include a
review of the Leica digital M and more rangefinder lenses (old and new). At $26.50, a
year's subscription costs about the same as two movie tickets and a bucket of popcorn.
This is one reviewer who is worth reading and I highly recommend the site.
