London Meet - 29/30 June

What about the riverside down by the National Theatre? It's just about underneath Waterloo Bridge, so there's somewhere to shelter if the weather's like today. And there are places to get coffee nearby, improtantly.

As for gear, I'll be bringing my digital, and any camera that has a film in it (Yup, including the Nettar, if it's not too wet). My partner will be bringing her Fuji X10, and I will be trying to persuade her to try out a rangefinder, which should be fun if I can.

So, that may be:
1xSLR (actually, this is a bit bulky; might leave it at home)
2xDigital
1xAPS compact
1x35mm compact
1xmedium format folder
2xrangefinder

25% RF, in other words. I hope I have the test roll back from the new SP by then, so I know how accurate the meter is.

I might be able to come along as I'm in Basingstoke at the moment - I'm normally in Scotland and don't get down this way often!

Just to clarify - you're planning on meeting up on Sunday 30th June at 10:30 outside the Southbank Centre, correct?

Cheers
Simon

We left the folks at Spitalfields, and are on our way home, a few good photos in the can (i hope). The baby was very well behaved, but we didn't want to push our luck too far.

Nice to meet everyone, and it was fun to look at all the different cameras there.

Hope to see you all again soon.

Cool!
I was scouting Bath today and was impossible to make it but it would be great to see the guys at some point.

Regards,

Boris

Sorry to hear you had problems with your Walz. I was intrigued by that camera, as I'd never seen one before, and had assumed it was German. I was surprised to find it was Japanese. But a characterful rangefinder, nonetheless.

Actually the camera is very good and rather quick to use. Not as good as leica, but it costed me almost nothing.
Are there any photoes from our meetup coming?
