Interesting collection. I think most London photographers will have done a few like that, at one time or another but he seems to have really worked at it.

The photos appear to me to be surprisingly unsharp given they were taken with a Leica.

Loved those. I remember K25 in the 80s and I avoided it for the most part.
I noticed an image with a young woman on stairs sticking her tongue out at the camera. I've never had anyone stick their tongue out at me....a badge of honor to be sure, and a challenge I need to accept. However, I think tongues were more common during the late 70s/80s, today I think I'm more likely to get something different -- something associated with fingers.
Last, I love the images of the punks. Some of my first paid work was promotion of punk bands in southern California. Loved it. Those chaps are actually kind of fun. Luckily though, they weren't the ones paying.

Absolutely 🙂 . And, having been mentioned, the constraints of low light and low ISO speed served, if anything, to emphasise the 'authenticity' of the shots.

Great photos, I'd like to have seen more of the advertising in the stations, the stations don't change that much but advertising is so era defining.
