Refuses to suffer fools
I've pretty much resolved myself to keeping my If due to a lack of buyer interest, so I should probably finish the original project of turning it into a pocket cannon.
I lusted for a I series Barnack for years - I love the clean lines. When I finally picked one up I struggled between getting a 50 and a 35 - a 35 Summaron won out because I prefer the FL and also because it's a little more forgiving of scale focusing. I have a beat-up SBLOO brightline VF, but it's a little big for this petite body.
So, I'm back to considering a C-V Minifinder. It should be roughly the size of the finder on a Standard, but I've never seen one on a I series body.
Is there a chance anyone here has both?

I admit that I used a SBLOO on an M3, but I didn't find it large. It's a fine finder.

Hello:
Sorry for the cryptic note. I thought you intended to mount long lenses. A CV minifinder seems a good idea for your actual intent.

I agree it's one of the best 35mm brightlines ever made, but I really find it to be much too large on this little If. I'd like a 35mm BL equivalent to a Standard's built-in finder.

For a frame finder with a difference you could try the Ikodot.
Ikodot frame finder website;
http://www.ikodot.com/
Make sure you have a good read of the website ...these are very well made items and once you start to use them very intuitive. Well worth the price!

It will stick up a couple of millimeters higher than the wind knob. Very unobtrusive. The 28mm frameline is easier to see than the 35mm one.
