Joe
When people ask how I am I say "Great, I woke up this morning and I'm still here"
Enjoy every day you have and take lots more photographs.:)

time for bed...but first wanted to say thanks to all who responded here today...for some of us it has been 10 years together...rff can be a pretty special place at times.
i remember hearing from dave (no longer active here) and how he called the local police and got them to come and check out my place...the neighbours were abuzz!!
i too hope i have another 10 years left on my ticker...life just gets better!

Isn't that Greyhoundman you are referring to? I remember his posts regarding you. Are you still in touch with him? I have lost contact since I only really knew him from his posts here and his repair of one of my Canon QLs. I always thought of him as very compassionate as well as talented.

Any way, I am very glad you are still with us. You have made great contributions to this forum, and it wouldn't be the same without you and your past guidance. It would seem you made a full recovery. Anyway, I hope in another 10 or 20 years you and I are both here to celebrate another anniversary of your survival.

yep, it was greyhoundman for sure...we kept in touch for awhile but that sort of slipped away.

Just got out of the hospital today. Had some chest pain Monday morning but it turned out NOT to be my heart - probably reflux or just soreness from chronic bronchitis/asthma. Took every test they had, and I'm pretty worn out from it all. But I'm OK!

So congratulations, Joe - glad they didn't cancel your breathing policy!

good for you!
i still get chest pains some times...it's water retention with the water surrounding my heart...i take a diuretic for a few days when it happens and pee myself back to health...
