Kim,
You are a fortunate guy. I'd kiss my mailman if he'd brought even one of those to my house, let alone both!

Got an Artisan & Artist neckstrap for my MP last week to replace the factory Leica strap. Nice supple leather with no break-in period required. Nice leather neckpad. Perfect length too. http://www.artisanandartist.com/straps/acam250.htm

Thank you Trius!
First off we got a comparison between what I used to use and what I use now.
Elan 7 vs. M4-P w/ FL 55/1.2
and my Summitar which arrived the same day as the body (20th of Feb.)
et pour finir, I have juuuust received today my S-Mount 35/2
Just shot a test roll and should be dropping it off tomorrow. Golly I just love the 35/2. It's like a dream.

Well... not in the mail but still: Meet my 'new' Olympus 35SP. I've seen some awesome photos taken with the Olympus 35SP, so let's hope I can do the same
I hope 60 euro was a good price.

My brand new Summilux 50/f1.4 arrived today. I am stoked to try this out over the weekend! Wish I could join the Chicago group that's meeting.

Heading out shortly with a new ZM 18 Distagon (via Popflash) which arrived several days ago. Love the chrome finish. It will alternate between my M6 ttl loaded with Provia 100 and my Hexar and Fuji ProC.

All kinds of goodies waiting for me when I got home this afternoon!
>My Bessa R got back from being repaired--I fell this winter and knocked the VF alignment out-- Thanks, Stephen!
>A lovely bright yellow box from Ukraine with another J-3 and a bunch of assorted filters--this J-3 looks very good and at least seems to focus well; the infinity mark and 1 meter mark on the lens both agree with the VF of two different cameras. I'll know better after the film comes back.
>And a box from Hamilton Book with several darkroom books.
Gonna be a fun summer!

After a little more than a year long sojourn at the Marflex Linhof Spa, my Tech V 23b is back and ready for action.
The camera got a general CLA and a few small repairs, and I had three lenses cammed--55/4.5 Apo-Grandagon, 105/2.8 Xenotar, and 180/5.6 Caltar II-N (Sironar-N). The camera came with a cam for a 65, 100, and 135mm lenses that didn't come with the camera (Linhof cams are custom ground for each individual lens), but I tried my 65/8 Super-Angulon and 135/5.6 Caltar II-N (Sironar-N), and they're pretty darn close--maybe not for shooting wide open, but certainly down one stop or more--so I set up infinity stops for those lenses as well.
I'm using my 4x5" viewfinder on top with the equivalent focal lengths for 6x7 penciled in on the focal length ring. I don't have a viewfinder mask for 2.25x3.25, so the plan is to use rollfilm and shoot 6x7 for handheld and rangefinder shots, and 2.25x3.25 Grafmatics for sheet film with the groundglass back. I can also use rollfilm with groundglass focusing as another possibility.

I haven't particpated in this thread for a long while, since I'm pretty much done with gear aquisition. What came in the mail today is not new gear, I owned it before but in a different form. It's a 50mmf2 CZJ-S now in ltm. The -S stands for Sweeney. Thank you, Brian!
