After a little more than a year long sojourn at the Marflex Linhof Spa, my Tech V 23b is back and ready for action.
The camera got a general CLA and a few small repairs, and I had three lenses cammed--55/4.5 Apo-Grandagon, 105/2.8 Xenotar, and 180/5.6 Caltar II-N (Sironar-N). The camera came with a cam for a 65, 100, and 135mm lenses that didn't come with the camera (Linhof cams are custom ground for each individual lens), but I tried my 65/8 Super-Angulon and 135/5.6 Caltar II-N (Sironar-N), and they're pretty darn close--maybe not for shooting wide open, but certainly down one stop or more--so I set up infinity stops for those lenses as well.
I'm using my 4x5" viewfinder on top with the equivalent focal lengths for 6x7 penciled in on the focal length ring. I don't have a viewfinder mask for 2.25x3.25, so the plan is to use rollfilm and shoot 6x7 for handheld and rangefinder shots, and 2.25x3.25 Grafmatics for sheet film with the groundglass back. I can also use rollfilm with groundglass focusing as another possibility.
