Look what came in the mail

Yesterday the replacement for my C35 Automatic arrived. The C35 Auto has a sticky shutter and I don't have the necessary tools to work on it, i.e lens spanner, so I got a replacement that is working. This is the original C35 (unofficially a Mark II) that was introduced in 1968. It has Konica's ubiquitous 38mm f/2.8 lens made of 4 elements in 3 groups.

I got myself a Black C35 to go with the Silver one. Also arriving today is a Auto-Up CA closeup attachment. Played with it a little bit and I can see some interesting possibilities. :D

I'm feeling almost like this is my thread and not a sticky.

The last year has been a tough one with my partner being sick and filing for disability. Well, his case was settled and now that he has an income again, I decided to treat myself to a nice birthday present.

The Olympus XA arrived today and you can see that it is very nice. At a glance it all seems to work. It took a little while for the flash ready lamp to come up to speed. I am thrilled and I can't wait to shoot it.

Hello all, this is my first post and I'm excited to say that I just got a M2 with a 5 cm elmar lens and a light meter! The body and lens are in a bit of a sorry state - the chrome has a few scratches and engravings of the the previous owner's initials, there appears to be a screw missing from the top plate!! (currently sealed by black tape), the lens looks a bit hazy, but I'm hoping it is all in working order as the seller stated. Now I've just got to wait for the film to arrive.

Looks like this forum's a great place to learn from and I'm really looking forward to the whole rangefinder experience.

Welcome!. You'll like it here. Lots of enthusiastic, agreeable, smart people.

Check the repair forum if you get to thinking about sending the M2 and the Elmar out for some renovation.

This is one of fmy first posts here, and well it didn't arrive in my mail but arrived at the same time I walked through the door of ,y friendly neighbourhood camera shop. My brand new Bessa R3a.

Loving it so far, just need to get the film finished and back to the lab so I can see how my first (serious) foray into rangefinder photography is fairing... I could go on for days as to how much better/easier the 3a is compared to my D2x for street shooting, but I fear I am preaching to the choir. ;)

today came this (the lens) from another forum member in United States:
Viso adapted Summicron-M 90 on my trusty FE.

also, from another forum member in Norway, 10 rolls of Kodachrome. so after coming from work it felt almost like a Christmas :)

Elmar 90/2.8 just came in from a fellow RFF member.

It was described as an user, but oh boy it looks super nice, came with caps and dedicated hood. And you can't beat the price: $250!!! :D I can't wait to try out this weekend.

Nice, Sara, enjoy. I think I read in another post that this is your first RF? It won't be your last I promise.

Got a new Sonnar :). Had that 90mm for a while, but haven't used it much, so it's still kind of new to me... and well, there is it's bigger brother
