By any chance, anyone with a 39mm red filter that could sell it? I need one for an urgent project and just don't like the idea of spending for a new one. So maybe some friends here...🙄

For those of you who use B&W filters, which one(s) do you use the most? And would you happen to have "before and after" images that you can share to show how you have improved your pictures with the filter? Thanks!

I have a Hoya 39mm red filter. Actually I have a whole bunch of mostly Hoya and Leitz 39mm filters. They're in great condition but most likely single coated. They ain't new! If you're in the U.S. and willing to pay for shipping to & from I'll lend it to you for the project. Email me at preacherpop42@aol.com

I use yellow and red mostly. Green and orange only sometimes and never blue so far. Sorry but no samples as my scanning stinks (tired once but gave up). There are general rules when to use each color.

Yeah! I see! I'm in Montreal. Maybe it's simple to get a new B&W. But price is ridiculous for such a filter!

Hi. If you do a search "39mm red filter" on eBay, there seems to be a Tiffen which is available for 4 bucks if I'm not mistaken. Hope this helps.

Can you borrow a larger red filter nearby? Maybe you could just hold it against the front of the lens or hood. I've done that a time or two. It works.
