Looking for a bag/pouch for my small kit

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ordered the Gopix 40, mainly because of it's price and the small size I wanted.

They're mini messenger bags with 3 inserts (2 adjustable dividers), but very little padding. Strap is sewn on so no rings, clips. I passed on it, as for RF gear it is pretty deep, too deep, unless you have a way to stack things, and is just too close to my J803 which is made much better (but heavier too).

I Recently bought the Lowepro Exchange Messenger http://products.lowepro.com/product/Exchange-Messenger,2189,20.htm It's large enough for my ZM, a couple of lenses, Some rolls of film and some other small items. If your looking for paded protection, this is not the bag for you. But it's small and lightweight, and during my last vacation it turned out to be the perfect bag for me.

i've been using the lowepro exchange messenger for a while now and i like it.
it fits the rd1 with 50/1.1 along with the 28 and 35 and my ipad (i cut the divider on the outside pocket) and my little bluetooth headphones (did i say i love my ipad), batteries, bus. cards and sd cards fit in the small zippered pocket.
i like that it's light weight and i put micro fibre cloths in the bottom of eash segment in the main compartment to act as both a cushion and to have something to dry the gear in the chance of rain or snow.
cheap and cheerful.

I walked into 3 canvas Domke 5XB's for 10 bucks each,.... They look like a small purse and the velcro bugged me however, so I removed the flap. Now they're just a small bag with a zipper on top, no velcro. ...bag.

Two things:

1) If it rains, your camera gets wet.
2) Real Leica shooters dont do purses.

Hi Joe

Hi Joe

I liked that it was light weight too, and could easily see making use of one if I didn't already have a J803.

Do you find the sections a bit deep though? I thought about using my my favorite hard lens cases (Rubbermaid 118ml round servin' savers) for underneath, then some foam to hold an RF higher for easy access.

But these little round containers only hold the tiniest of lenses like the LTM CV 15, 21, and Canon 28, but with M adapters and caps.
