Looking for a film box top holder..

I am always forgetting what I load...
I have seen a film-box-top holder for the back of a camera...
I searched eBay, but could not find it...
Anyone know where I can get one?

Do you really need that? Here's what I do: When I am finished for the day and there is film left in the camera I write the type film remaining in the camera on a POST-IT and attach the "post it" to the camera.

My last roll I thought it was XP2 and it was Superia 400...
I shoot it from ISO 200-800 (OK with XP2, but not Superia 400)


I thought about it... and cut down the top end to fit in the hot-shoe.. with a bit tape to hold it on...Thanks for inspiration 🙂

Back in the 1980s, I bought some stick-on film box end pouches and used them until the camera on which they were placed got stolen in '94. Didn't look that pretty, but it worked great.

I've never seen them since.

If you really want one, Porter's probably has it. they seem to be the king of the gadget sellers.

Two cut up cardboard slide mounts glued together. Or use sheet plastic or sheet aluminium.
