I just bought one of these flash units and it works fine but the writing is almost completely rubbed off the control dials. Looking for a cheap one with dials in good condition so I can try to swap them out. Bit of a long shot but you never know until you ask.

The SF40 is a rebranded Nissin i40 -which does not provide TTL on Leica bodies. Have a look if the dials are interchangeable.

I think there may be a Metz version of the SF40 along as you have the correct adapter.
