Hello,
I have a Mamiya Six (IV) and just got a 3 filter set 'Mamiya, Y.2 Yellow, YA.3, PO.0'
Filter set was basically free, just looking for info on how/when, to properly use these filters. New to medium format.

Sorry, I missed this thread before. There are many places on the i'net that talk about the effects of filters for both color and b/w film. Just google it. The use of filters would be the same no matter the film format being used.
If you are asking about how to mound them I would have to know what you have. I use series VI filters with a series VI adapter that fits on the outside of the lens and a screw tightens it down.

I did not know if Mamiya filters were different that any other filters.

I don't recall if they have a filter ring in the lens or not. There were most likely push on filters that would have fit them as well. There were also 3 or 4 models and each may have had its own method of attaching a filter, but probably not. I have two parts and one user. I can look at the parts cameras tonight if I don't forget. My user is loaned out right now.
