Which is the best designed photo website you have ever seen NOT including photo blog sites?

I don't know what you want to do with this inspiration, but I am guessing that you want to do your own website.

Let me give you my 2 cents before I give you some links. In all of the photo websites you will visit you will be able to categorize them in 2 sections: The more conservative ones, and the more in your face, fullscreen ones. The in your face ones are very cool and sleek looking, but they are also, I believe alienating, they are a bit too fancy and creates some sort of barrier: users like their predictable interfaces.... And I also find that these make a good first impression but it does not last beyond the initial WOW. The more conservative ones are simple, and straight to the point, but they are not as cool as the IYF onces, but I believe that they are more timeless. The IYF onces also sometimes overshadow the photography, and that defeats the point. I always take the conservative approach with a little extra, but not too much, not to alienate the viewer....

These are templates, but very very well designed
A similar feel is Daido Moriama's website:

And Anders Petersen:

Conservative:

A lot of stuff from livebooks is very conservative with zen type. These are the best that I have on top of my head, hope that helps!
