Hi Gents/ladies,

I just found this site, while looking for used M8 or new M9. I thought I just introduced myself.

Anyway, I got one question, should I wait for next week big news for M10 or something ...or just buy the M8/M9 ? ...

There are a few out there, but nothing in Australia at the moment.

Hope to get your best opinion.

Thanks

Hi Donz,

Easy one. I would wait, what is a couple of days ? The new announcement will either be something that you really want and that will make you regret having bought a M8/M9 or it is something you do not care about but what might make others sell their M8/M9's. In all likelihood it M8/M9 second hand prices will go down. Used M8 or new M9; I would actually look for an used M9. No crop factor. A 35mm is a 35mm.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for the good nice reply..I just need some persuasion not to buy it now..definitely like any other market once the new one come out..and the price of the old will go down ..

Hopefully like you said, most the M9 owner will sell theirs to get the new best one..

so in the meantime..i just learn how to use them first from the forum and internet :)

OR, they will bring out something else on May 10th, what nobody expected, and suddenly used M8 and M9 prices go up again because the expected replacement did NOT come. If you're in for an M9, I don't believe prices will be going down significantly in the short term. So if you can spend $ 5000 now, get your M9 now. If you cannot afford an M9, you won't be able to afford one in one or two weeks or a months. Then get your M8 now. If you're rich and money is not a problem, then wait and see what's coming. But I'm pretty sure it's not an M9-successor.
