I love grain and shoot at 6400 regularly. I'm saving my pennies to get the awfully named slr magic t0.95 lens but I've never actually seen anything shot at that film speed and wide open with any 0.95 lens.

Anyone got some to share?

I think if the SLR Magic 0.95 does come out at $4k, then they will have a very hard time against used Canon 0.95 lenses, and the Nokton 1.1. Some people just *need* 0.95 and not 1.1, but I wonder how many of them will try to stretch to a Noctilux.

I'd never heard of this lens until now.

Apparently, there's a version that will fit M-mount camera bodies. Now, it looks so big that it would take up a massive amount of the viewfinder coverage - so you probably couldn't see much of what's going on in front of the lens. Secondly, close focusing would be so critical at f0.95 (due to the almost non-existent DoF) that getting a sharp image would be more luck than judgement.

$4,000? Sounds like a bargain....!!

I sure don't want to pay 4k for it... May as well get a summilux.

Regardless, if anyone has shot something wide open at 6400 I still want to see it.
