It is GO time on this, where are you fellow shooters?

The site explains a lot about the project:

http://www.Kodachromeproject.com

The forum has been up for a couple weeks and is gaining new members daily including the last remaining public Kodachrome lab, Dwaynes in Parsons, Kansas.

http://www.kodachromeproject.com/forum/index.php

The project’s main focus are three things:

1. To visually celebrate Kodachrome’s 75th anniversary by making relevant imagery now.

2. To petition for Kodak to allow Kodachrome photographers to be able to do that.

3. To foster the ideas of shooting meaningful images on Kodachrome in what could be it’s last couple years instead of just seeing it fade away.

I need talented and driven shooters for this! Don’t be shy, there might not be that much time left. I wrote Rick Smolan at Against All Odds Productions ( The creator of the well known Day in the Life of and 24/7 series ) about orchestrating the book end of this.

This will not be a good project or a good tribute to Kodachrome without you! Sure, there are plenty of mediums in which to be a good photographer or journalist, but why not add a cool twist onto a good project by shooting it on a piece of history?

I’m very serious, write dan@kodachromeproject.com if you want to join in.

I've been shooting a few rolls of Kodachrome as of late (first ever time to do so) and as soon as I get my results back from Dwaynes/Walmart and get some scans i'd definately be interested if I get anything of worth. :)
